SOPHIA PESTANA

Sophia was greatly involved within the College of Journalism and Communications at UF. Sophia was a news reporter and sports anchor for WUFT-TV in which she pitched story ideas, interviewed subjects, collected B-roll, wrote scripts, and prepared content to go on air during the live weekday newscast, First at Five. Sophia learned to tell meaningful stories within tight deadlines. Below are Sophia's reel and some of her most memorable pieces.
